This was one of those moments where we jumped off the couch to catch the sunset- probably the best sunset i can remember at the bay... probably due in part by the recent bushfires!

Awesome colors....and a very simple but beautiful sunset.

If I may critique. I think this photo would be much more strong if it all fit on the screen without scrolling (ie. anything 900 pix wide, or less) Just a thought though ;)

thanks for the feedback! at present our digital camera takes whopping great pictures (TIFF images at 1024x768, i think) so although i can get really detailed images, theyre also incredibly large. I don't mind though, since we hardly ever use all of the camera's memory to grab shots like these!

btw., nice dA page! you certainly have many talents- how do you sleep at night, with so many ideas floating around?!

haha, thanks for the kind compliments...Believe me, when it comes time for bed, this deviant has no problems sleeping ;)

Do you have a program like Photoshop? Or even Windows Paint..you can use to re-size your photos, os they fit on-screen without scrolling.

sure, ive got those programs, but i bought a 19" monitor 6 months ago, so its my native resolution. sorry if theyre too big, but you can never have too much of a good thing ;)
