Just thought I'd share a couple of images from our last week's submission- in basically ONE WEEK (that's right, 7 DAYS!!) we had to design a concept for a new railway station (formerly the Glanville Station) that connnected with new development taking place in the area.
The existing station is a bit of an oddity; 'Glanville' as a suburb doesn't exist and the overall preception of the platform as-is is pretty bleak!
Anyway, this is the 'long-span' solution my group came up with- i was given the task of doing it up in SketchUp 5, so I have no qualms over taking all the credit.... :evillaugh: great stuff guys! ^^;

thank you! we took tons of photos, but the place where the station is atm is pretty barren and lifeless... :D

great performance, I must say!

I really like that solution, altough the "roof"'s construction has some unneeded bars in it. But yeah, I know, its for the architectures sake.. ;P
And how do you plan to fix the flying stairs?


But anyway, excellent concept, great model and nice render. :D
