Description
Here are the posters from our latest and greatest arch project; the program is 'mixed-use' (ie. retail, office & residential) and the site is located on the corner of North Terrace and Frome Street, Adelaide (no idea where this is? just download Google Earth already! )
My design focuses on the little things; how the built form manages its occupants' different needs and the movement/interaction possibilities on-site. My only regret is the mass of the volume, something that breaks down towards the back but is still quite imposing from front!
The way I see it, there are two schools of thought on sustainable architecture- either you shout it out loud (as ive done here) or claim it but don't flaunt it.
Either method can be done economically, the question is; which one would you choose?
-(A1) SketchUp 6 Pro, AutoCAD '07, Photoshop cs2
